Patricia de Leon: a former of Miss Panama

Patricia de Leon has the unique distinction of being on two different TV networks in two different languages this winter. Patricia is currently airing as a ‘fantasy woman / love interest’ opposite Ray Romano on the TNT Series, MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE.  Patricia also stars on the NBC/UNI’s Spanish language channel Telemundo, on the telenovela PERRO AMOR also starring Carlos Ponce (Couples Retreat).

On the big screen, Patricia co-stars in the upcoming film THE POOL BOYS (formerly known as AMERICAN SUMMER – from Seven Arts Pictures). Patricia plays ‘Julia’ in the comedy about a pool boy (Matthew Lillard) and a gardener (Efren Ramirez) who turn an empty mansion into a brothel. The film, which also stars Tom Arnold, is produced by Warren Zide (American Pie 1 & 2) and directed by J.B. Rogers. Patricia just signed on to a role in CALLIGRAPHY, which is scheduled to shoot in 2010.

This fall, Patricia returned to her 4th season of the ABC Family series, LINCOLN HEIGHTS where she plays the character Sofia Munoz, a widowed mother who also lost her two children in the troubled neighbor of Los Angeles known as Lincoln Heights.

Patricia’s first big break was being crowned MISS PANAMA. She then established herself across Latin America as a reporter for Univision. In 2010 Patricia will be seen each week as the co-host of TELEMUNDO’s TV’s Corte del Pueblo. Most recently, she was the host of Billboard Latino, a music countdown show.  Her other TV credits include CBS’s Cold Case and NBC’s Crossing Jordan.

On the big screen, Patricia can also be seen in the low budget horror film, BLUE LAKE MASSACRE where she stars opposite Burt Young, and a role in THE SADMAN. One of her biggest roles to date was in the Sundance. Film Festival debut HOW THE GARCIA GIRLS SPENTS THEIR SUMMER opposite America Ferrera and Elizabeth Peña. She also played opposite Edward James Olmos and Maria Conchita Alsonso in SPLINTER; was recently in CLOUD NINE with Burt Reynolds, DL Hughley and Paul Rodriguez; and ALL IN with Dominque Swain and Michael Madsen.
