Daniela Kosán Montcourt is a Venezuelan model and television presenter born February 24, 1974 in Maracay.

She was a contestant in the Miss Venezuela pageant in 1997 and a major favorite for the crown behind Cristina Dieckmann; Kosan placed third in the final contest after Dieckmann and Veruska Ramirez, the eventual winner. Hereafter she represented Venezuela in the 'Nuestra Belleza Internacional' pageant where she finished up as the winner. After that, she represented her country in Miss International 1998, narrowly missing the crown; her second-place finish was attributed to the fact that the reigning Miss International, Consuelo Adler, was a fellow Venezuelan. The next year, she was the weather girl in Venevisión news shows. In 2000, she worked as hostess for E! Latin America.

Kosán was also known for being one of the Chicas Polar for an advertisign campaign for a brewery.

Ximena Sariñana: a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress

Ximena Sariñana Rivera (born October 29, 1985) is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress. Sariñana's musical career was launched in 2008 with the release of her first studio album Mediocre, an adult contemporary pop-rock/vocal jazz album that has been critically acclaimed and nominated for various awards, including two nominations in the Latin Grammy Awards of 2008.

Ximena Sariñana (hi-MEN-a sa-rin-YAH-na) Rivera was born in Guadalajara, Mexico to producer/director Fernando Sariñana and screenwriter Carolina Rivera. She is niece of Mexican actress Angélica Rivera and producer José Alberto Castro, brother of Verónica Castro. When she was 2 years old, Sariñana attended an Ella Fitzgerald concert, claiming to be the beginning of her interest in music and one of her biggest influences. She soon started listening to other artists such as Paul Simon and Tracy Chapman. She would often be seen singing and dancing, dressed up in costumes. When Sariñana was 7 years old, her neighbor, Cecilia Toussaint suggested she should take singing lessons with her teacher Ricardo Sánchez, known for instructing Mexico's biggest talents. She also took up piano lessons with Hanna Cot. In 1994, Sariñana acted in Hasta morir (English: 'Til Death), which was produced by her father, Fernando Sariñana. Sariñana would later attend the Academia de Musica Fermatta.

She started acting in telenovelas at the age of 11 as the villain Mariela in Luz Clarita, starring Daniela Luján as the main character, Luz Clarita. The following year, Sariñana acted in the telenovela María Isabel as Rosa Isela, with Adela Noriega as the main character, María Isabel. Her final appearance on a telenovela was in 1998 on a telenovela entitled Gotita de amor (English: Droplet of Love) as Enriqueta. At seventeen, after earning a scholarship for the Five Week Program of the Berklee College of Music, she composed three songs for the soundtrack of the Mexican movie Amar te duele where she also played the part of Mariana. Other important movies in which she acted were as Ximena in the 2001 film El Segundo Aire (English: A Second Chance), Valetina in Niñas Mal (English: Bad Girls), all of which were directed by her father and written by her mother. She also appeared in a short film called De paso in 2005. In 2007, Ximena Sariñana acted in the movie Dos abrazos (English: Two Embraces[6]) directed by Enrique Begne. Dos abrazos won Sariñana an award for Best Female Actress at the 38th Diosas de Plata of Pecime awards. The latest movie in which she has acted is called Enemigos íntimos (English: Close Enemies) and will be released on DVD in late 2008.

She went on to be part of the band Feliz No Cumpleaños (English: Happy Un-Birthday), a Mexican funk-jazz, pop-rock band she formed alongside old friends from the Academia de Musica Fermatta. She captivated the audience on television by performing "El Triste" (English: The Sad One), originally performed by Mexican icon José José.

An article in Rolling Stone España in February 2009 featured Sariñana, and she expanded further into international stardom when she graced the cover of Venus Zine's Summer 2009 issue, transcending national boundaries to make her mark in American media.

Her first solo album Mediocre was released on February 12, 2008 by Warner Music Group. Ximena wrote most of the songs on the album and revealed in Venus Zine's Summer 2009 cover story that, “Learning the language of my nationality was something I really wanted to achieve... so I thought maybe if I did a Spanish album it would be a good challenge." On March 28, 2008, Mediocre was certified gold by AMPROFON for selling more than 50,000 copies. Sariñana would later receive further achievement when Mediocre reached platinum status for selling more than 80,000 copies.

The videos for Vidas paralelas, Normal, and No Vuelvo Mas were all shot in Iceland. Vidas paralelas was directed by Pablo Dávila.

In late June, Metronomy stated that they were fascinated with Ximena's debut album Mediocre and the group produced a remix of La tina. Her music video for the second single, No Vuelvo Más, was premiered as an exclusive video on July 14, 2008 in MTV Mexico. She was later nominated for two Latin Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Song but lost to Kany García and Volver a Comenzar by Café Tacuba respectively.

In 2007, she contributed vocals for the song "Valenciana" in the album Extempore by the Ensenada-based nujazz band Kobol. In March 2009, Sariñana was featured as a vocalist alongside her boyfriend Omar Rodríguez-López with his solo group on their tour of Europe, which resulted in the live record Los Sueños de un Higado. She also provided vocals on Omar's solo albums Xenophanes, Solar Gambling, Ciencia de los Inútiles, Cizaña de los Amores and Tychozorente.

Along with Jason Mraz, she has released a Spanish version of Mraz's song "Lucky". The video for the Spanish-version has both her and Mraz in it, it was released to MTV on 22 June 2009. As of November 2009, Ximena is currently in the studio working on her second album. Ximena's second self-titled album, will consist of English songs written or co-written by her. The album will contain one Spanish-language track called, "Tu y Yo". The album was recorded in Mexico City and Los Angeles during 2009 and was completed in early 2011. It was released in North America on August 2, 2011. The album's first single, "Different", was released in June 2011.

Actress-model Elizabeth Gutierrez was born in the United States to Mexican parents. The youngest of 6 sisters and 1 brother, she moved to Jalisco, Mexico when she was five years old to study. She then returned to the United States when she was ten years old.

Elizabeth participated in the reality show Protagonistas de Novela 2. She also appeared as a model on the program "The Price is Right." Her first telenovela is Olvidarte Jamas, under Venevision International, where she worked with William Levy, with whom she will later have a child.

She and Levy likewise worked together in the telenovela "Acorrolada," under Univision. In said telenovela, her character, Paola was killed off, because she, as well as Levy was accepted to be a part of the Televisa production "Pasion." Her first leading role was in the telenovela "Amor Comprado" of Univision, where she starred opposite Jose Angel Llamas.

In 2008, she got her biggest break to date from Telemundo in the highly successful telenovela "El Rostro de Analia."

Karla Carrillo: the 1st Runner Up just after Miss Peru

Karla María Carrillo González (born January 24, 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco) was crowned Nuestra Belleza Jalisco on July, 2008 in Guadalajara, Jalisco and Nuestra Belleza Mexico on September 20, 2008 in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Representing her native state of Jalisco, Karla Carrillo competed in the national Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2008 pageant, where she obtained first place among thirty-two other contestants, thus making her the first Jaliscan to win the national title since Jacqueline Bracamontes in 2000. She was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza Mexico titleholder Elisa Nájera of Guanajuato.

Carrillo represented her country in the international Miss Universe 2009 pageant, held in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23 of that year. She failed to make the top fifteen, ending Mexico's five year streak of consecutive placements in Miss Universe, from 2004 through 2008.

On September 20, 2009, Carrillo was succeeded by fellow Jaliscan Ximena Navarrete as Miss Mexico Universe.

On September 18, 2010, Carrillo represented Mexico in the contest Miss Continente Americano 2010 and placed as the 1st Runner Up just after Miss Peru.

Montserrat Olivier (born April 13, 1966 in Monterrey, Nuevo León) is a Mexican fashion model, business entrepreneur, actress, and talk-show host.

Oliver started her modeling career at the age of 16. She quickly landed a Vogue cover, a magazine in which she was featured numerous times throughout her professional life.

Early in her career, Olivier moved to Miami where she modeled for magazines such as Elle and Top Model. While in Miami, she was cast for a role for the Fox movie Fortune Hunter. She also hosted the Telemundo show Basta two years.

After several years in the United States, Montserrat returned to Mexico City where she appeared in Ramona, the first of many telenovelas for, the Spanish-language broadcast network Televisa, which included "Sin Pecado Concebido", "Mujeres" and "La Madrastra". After Ramona, Oliver starred in her own Televisa show, "Las Hijas de la Madre Tierra", which she co-produced and co-hosted with close friend Yolanda Andrade. The show aired for eight years in Mexico and in various countries around the world.

During this time, Montserrat also served as national spokesperson and brand image for selected global companies, like Coca-Cola, L’Oréal Paris, and Lancome among others. She is currently the brand image for Scotia Bank, Trident, and Clear shampoo.

Montserrat continued her relationship with Televisa as the network’s live correspondent in historical television specials around the world like the Greece and Beijing Olympics in 2002 and 2008, as well as the Japan and South Africa World Cups in 2004 and 2010 respectively. She has also been called upon to host live award shows as was the case in 1998 when she hosted the prestigious music festival Viña del Mar in Chile and in 2002 when she co-hosted the MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica in Miami.

In addition to her high profile media presence in Mexico, Montserrat Olivier owns several businesses: a clothing line called Royal Closet with business partner Barbara Coppel; a line of sunglasses called MO Lunettes du Soleil; a talent agency, Jerry ML, which represents artists for commercial work throughout Mexico; and, a production company which specializes in producing commercials.

Grettell Valdez: a Mexican actress

Grettell Valdez (born as Grettell Valeria Valdez Jiménez on July 8, 1976 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican actress. She is noted for her performances in Mexican telenovelas. Her husband was actor Patricio Borghetti.

Valdez got married to her Rebelde and Angel Rebelde co-star, actor and singer Patricio Borghetti, in 2004. At the start of 2008, she announced that she was expecting her first child with Patricio. She gave birth to a baby boy, Santino Borghetti, on July 25, 2008. In October 2009 it was confirmed by Patricio that the two had split and were getting a divorce. December of 2010 the divorce was finalized.

She has been dating actor Sebastian Zurita since May 2010. Their relationship was much discussed in the press due to Valdez being ten years older than Zurita.

Patricia de Leon: a former of Miss Panama

Patricia de Leon has the unique distinction of being on two different TV networks in two different languages this winter. Patricia is currently airing as a ‘fantasy woman / love interest’ opposite Ray Romano on the TNT Series, MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE.  Patricia also stars on the NBC/UNI’s Spanish language channel Telemundo, on the telenovela PERRO AMOR also starring Carlos Ponce (Couples Retreat).

On the big screen, Patricia co-stars in the upcoming film THE POOL BOYS (formerly known as AMERICAN SUMMER – from Seven Arts Pictures). Patricia plays ‘Julia’ in the comedy about a pool boy (Matthew Lillard) and a gardener (Efren Ramirez) who turn an empty mansion into a brothel. The film, which also stars Tom Arnold, is produced by Warren Zide (American Pie 1 & 2) and directed by J.B. Rogers. Patricia just signed on to a role in CALLIGRAPHY, which is scheduled to shoot in 2010.

This fall, Patricia returned to her 4th season of the ABC Family series, LINCOLN HEIGHTS where she plays the character Sofia Munoz, a widowed mother who also lost her two children in the troubled neighbor of Los Angeles known as Lincoln Heights.

Patricia’s first big break was being crowned MISS PANAMA. She then established herself across Latin America as a reporter for Univision. In 2010 Patricia will be seen each week as the co-host of TELEMUNDO’s TV’s Corte del Pueblo. Most recently, she was the host of Billboard Latino, a music countdown show.  Her other TV credits include CBS’s Cold Case and NBC’s Crossing Jordan.

On the big screen, Patricia can also be seen in the low budget horror film, BLUE LAKE MASSACRE where she stars opposite Burt Young, and a role in THE SADMAN. One of her biggest roles to date was in the Sundance. Film Festival debut HOW THE GARCIA GIRLS SPENTS THEIR SUMMER opposite America Ferrera and Elizabeth Peña. She also played opposite Edward James Olmos and Maria Conchita Alsonso in SPLINTER; was recently in CLOUD NINE with Burt Reynolds, DL Hughley and Paul Rodriguez; and ALL IN with Dominque Swain and Michael Madsen.
