Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 2, 1973, Roselyn Sachez is a model and a film/television actress. In her youth, she already showed signs of interest in performing such as dancing and acting and would even entertain and put on shows for her family. At the age of 18, Sanchez moved to New York City but returned to Puerto Rico where she made her movie debut as island girl in the movie “Captain Ron” with Kurt Russell and Martin Short. In 1993, she won the Miss Puerto Rico Petite contest and a year after, won the international title of Miss America Petite. Her breakthrough role came in 2001 as Isabella Molina who was Jackie Chan’s love interest in the movie Rush Hour 2. Dancer, model, and singer Sanchez is also a supporter of animal rights. An active member of PETA, she recently appeared nude in support of anti-fur campaign efforts in a PETA ad.
